First studios 2027
A full hour of recovery.
An hour of massage, given by a machine you control. You set the pressure. You own the session, from the first minute to the last.
No studio is open yet. Tell us your city and you are first through the door.
What this is
Recovery. An hour, one standard, and every choice inside it is yours.
A Sestala session is a full hour of massage, worked by a machine: an arm that presses, glides and warms the region you chose, at the force you set. The standard travels with the machine rather than being rebuilt room by room, so it is the same session this week as last week, in every room with our name on the door.
The machine
Made so you can stop thinking about it
Pressure
Press, push, glide. A head of small polished domes, moving over the region you chose, at the force you set, under a fixed ceiling nothing you ask for can pass.
Warmth
Gentle heat carried with the head, never above forty degrees. Spread wide across broad regions, held steady on narrow ones.
Draw
A gentle vacuum that lifts instead of presses, moved in slow lines. A completely different sensation from pressure, and the one first-time visitors ask about most.
The numbers, and whose they are
Four limits you can check
7 kg
The firmest it goes
Seven kilos is about a firm thumb press held in one place. You choose one of ten levels below that and change it at any second.
450 ms
To stop
Under half a second from touching the stop. Faster than you can say the word.
40 °C
Warmth, capped
About a warm bath, and you run at 37. Pressure and heat, nothing else.
Never
Above the shoulder
Not a setting somebody could change. The arm does not go there.
The sessions
Named for the week you have had
Everybody knows a massage works on a back. What you choose is the occasion, so that is what goes on the menu. Six sessions, two lengths, and the regions come with them.
Recovery 60
Sixty minutes of machine time, counted properly: the room's reset happens outside your hour, never inside it.
60 min
The Full Hour
When nothing in particular is wrong and the whole week is in your shoulders anyway.
Shoulders to calves · pressure, warmth throughout
The whole back, then the glutes, then the legs, in the order the arm reads them. Sixty minutes is long enough that you stop keeping track of it somewhere around the second region. Book this one if you are not sure: it is what most people take, and it is what we would take.
The Desk Week
By Thursday it has stopped being a feeling and started being a shape.
Lower back, upper back, shoulders · warmth first, then pressure
Five days at a screen land in the same two places, and neither of them is reached by a stretch at your desk. Broad, patient work at a wider spacing than you would ever ask a person for. The warmth does about half of it, which is the part nobody expects.
The Day After
You went hard yesterday. Today you want the patient kind of attention, not the heroic kind.
Hamstrings, glutes, lower back · pressure, gentler than you expect
Even strokes along the full length of the muscle, at the pressure you chose from ten levels and not one newton past it. Most people set the ceiling lower than they planned to and stay there. That is the session working.
On Your Feet
Nobody warns you that standing still is work.
Calves, hamstrings, lower back · draw and pressure
It arrives in the calves and settles in the low back, and it does not leave on the sofa. Slow lines sized to the muscle rather than bridging across it, then upward. Calves are the region first-timers underestimate, and the one they book again.
Recovery 25
The same work in an express format, for the days an hour is not on offer.
25 min
Between Things
The band across your shoulders, in about the time a coffee takes.
Shoulders, upper back · warmth, spread wide
For the days when an hour is not on offer. Warmth spread wide rather than concentrated, worked across the shoulder blades and the band beneath them. You keep your afternoon.
The Weekend
Twenty-five minutes on the two muscles that did the work and get none of the credit.
Glutes, hamstrings · firm, patient pressure
The strongest muscles you own and the least attended to. Firm, patient pressure of the kind large muscle actually asks for. The region where people set the ceiling highest, and the one that surprises them.
The feeling
Quiet, warm, yours

You set the pressure. You own the session.
Why come back
One session is a nice hour. The tenth is the point.
The same, every time
Minute fifty-five is the same as minute five, and next month is the same as this one. The force ceiling you set holds for the whole hour, and the session does not drift.
You stop deciding
A membership is named by how often you come, so the choosing is done once. After that the hour is already in your week.
It is there when you are
Book it, or walk in where we run inside a gym or a hotel. An hour you have to plan around is an hour you eventually skip.
